Jneyde is a New York City based artist. Since she was a young girl, Jneyde has been a scholarship recipient of the Arts Students League and showcased her work in youth exhibitions such as the Eskolta Change Makers Reception in the Rubin Museum. Jneyde has later on designed for the Brooklyn Public Library, Skyview Mall, CitiBike installments and other organizations. While currently completing her BFA in animation at the Fashion Institute of Technology, she works as an experienced tutor in graphic design, animation and Adobe programs at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. She was awarded the New York State Assembly Proclamation Award for the Brooklyn Public Library Juneteenth Card design and the FIT Excellence award by the Black Student Union. Jneyde enjoys creating engaging and safe environments that promote creativity for youth. Her goal is to create art that represents inclusive spaces and all walks of life. When she isn't creating new art, you can find her reading romance books and drinking matcha tea.
